Episode 140 – Belfast, Northern Ireland

Here is some information from our trip and the podcast from our Belfast adventure.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn City Centre.  It is near our favorite bars The Crown and Fibber Magee.  There were two other bars that looked really cool as well, but we did not stop at either, they were The Garrick and Fountain Lane.  We ate lunch at Robinson’s.

Definately check out City Hall.  It is the one thing in town that stands out.  I suggest perhaps taking the hop-on hop-off bus.  Look at taking the Black Cab Tours for more insightful history of Northern Ireland.  Victoria Square has nice shopping and restaurants, and you can go check-out the Titanic Musuem on a rainy day.

It is easy to get to Belfast on the train from Dublin.  We only paid 31 Euros for roundtrip tickets.

If you have been thinking about getting one of these credit cards use my links: Capital One Venture X, Southwest Airlines Personal and/or Business Cards, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Business Ink Cards, and the IHG (Holiday Inn) Cards. If you use my links to sign up for the card I get some points, and again it doesn’t cost you anything to help out the show.  Some of these credit card links do not last long.  If the link doesn’t work please contact me and I can send one to you in real time.  Remember, if you are unable to pay your credit cards off monthly then it is not worth getting these.  Thanks so much!
