Hopping islands and flying into Honolulu is really easy. If you are going to Waikiki Beach take the bus, and if you are going to Pearl Harbor or the north shore go ahead and rent a car. On the north shore is Waimea Falls at Waimea Botanical Gardens. Laniakea Beach on the north shore has a small amount of parking, and I saw big green turtles (Honu) sunning on the beach. Also, between Pearl Harbor and the north shore is the Dole Pineapple Plantation where you can take tours of the plantation. As for Pearl Harbor, just your tickets early. The time slots sell out quicker than you would think. The Ford Island tour looks great and would be super personal due to the few people that can go on the tour, again plan very early. Breweries that we liked in Honolulu were Waikiki Brewing, Olaha Brewing, and Hana Koa Brewing.
If you have been thinking about getting one of these credit cards use my links: Capital One Venture X, Southwest Airlines Personal and/or Business Cards, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Business Ink Cards, and the IHG (Holiday Inn) Cards. If you use my links to sign up for the card I get some points, and again it doesn’t cost you anything to help out the show. Some of these credit card links do not last long. If the link doesn’t work please contact me and I can send one to you real time. Remember, if you are unable to pay your credit cards off on a monthly basis then it is not worth getting these. Thanks so much!
