I hope you enjoyed this episode. This is the link for the Holiday Inn that we stayed at in Lisbon. It has a roof top pool and a roof top bar. The breakfast that we ordered off the menu was good as well. There is not too much right around this hotel, however. I booked it because it allowed me 3 people in the room, and that is hard to find in Europe for a decent price at times. Belem is a great area of Lisbon that has lots to see and do. Your first stop and maybe your last stop should be Pasteis de Belem for the awesome pasteries. Next would be a tour of Jeronimos Monastery (Mosteiro dos Jeronimos). Don’t forget to buy you tickets online ahead of time. The other big museum in the area is the National Coach Museum (Museu Nacional dos Coches). No this is not a museum about purses or handbags. The Maritime Museum (Musea de Marinha) is right next to the monestary. It looks pretty cool. It’s on my list for next time I’m in Belem. Don’t forget about Belem Tower as well, which is along the water front on the Tagus River. As you can see there is lots to do in Belem, so give yourself enough time to enjoy the area. A tram and lots of buses (15E,79B,729,201,714,727) can get you to Belem as well. The metro does not. The train does at Belem Station.
If you have been thinking about getting one of these credit cards use my links: Capital One Venture X, Southwest Credit Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Preferred, and the Hyatt Credit Card. If you use my links to sign up for the card I get some points, and again it doesn’t cost you anything to help out the show. Some of these credit card links do not last long. If the link doesn’t work please contact me and I can send one to you real time. Remember, if you are unable to pay your credit cards off on a monthly basis then it is not worth getting these. Thanks so much!
