Episode 116 – Thanks to Tina and Doug for their insight to Thai travel. This is the second and final episode on Thailand conversation. Episode 115 is the first episode in this conversation. Asala Dharma Day is a significant holiday celebrated by Buddhists around the world. It commemorates the day when the Buddha gave his first sermon to his followers. The holiday falls on the full moon day of the eighth lunar month, typically in July. Doug and Tina stayed on Karon Beach in Phuket at Woraburi Resort, which is a much more low key beach than the super popular Patong Beach. Karon Beach is south of Patong Beach.
Some of the key sights that they visited in Bangkok were the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun Gran Palace, which are all right off the river.
If you have been thinking about getting one of these credit cards use my links: Capital One Venture X, Southwest Credit Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Preferred, and the Hyatt Credit Card. If you use my links to sign up for the card I get some points, and again it doesn’t cost you anything to help out the show. Some of these credit card links do not last long. If the link doesn’t work please contact me and I can send one to you real time. Remember, if you are unable to pay your credit cards off on a monthly basis then it is not worth getting these. Thanks so much!
