Welcome back for episode 103! Previous Denver area skiing episodes were episode 71 dealing with Breckenridge, and episode 83 dealing with Arapahoe Basin & Loveland Ski areas. All three of these episodes put together should really help you plan a trip to ski in the Denver area. Remember, if heading out to Winter Park watch the weather and be ready for Jones Pass, and rent your skies before you get into town. I rented at Christie’s ski rental in Winter Park and then dropped them off at a Christie’s store in Denver. After a great day of skiing you can stop by Big Trout Brewing, or if you are headed back to Denver or the other Dillon area slopes (Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin) you can stop at Guanella Pass Brewing in Empire, CO. We stayed at the Hyatt Place Keystone which has an excellent location, especially to Keystone ski area as you might expect. After skiing at Keystone, you can stop by the Stoop Brewing Company in Keystone Village for some relaxation. Don’t forget to sig-up for the Epic Pass to get their emails, as I found good deals for the ski areas that they cover (Breckenridge and Keystone among others). If you have been thinking about getting one of these credit cards use my links: Capital One Venture X, Southwest Credit Card, and the Hyatt Credit Card. If you use my links to sign up for the card I get some points, and again it doesn’t cost you anything to help out the show. Remember, if you are unable to pay your credit cards off on a monthly basis then it is not worth getting these. Thanks so much!
