Episode 97 – Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Rocky Mountain National Parks

Welcome to episode 97!  Here is the credit card links for Capital One Venture X and Southwest Credit Card. Some of the offers on the credit cards change from time to time, especially the Venture X card with the extra $200 for vacation rentals so be aware! Bob and Chrissy started out at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, CO.  They suggested getting donuts at Hurts Donut Company.  From there they went to Estes Park, CO, which is at the Eastern entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.  They enjoyed Kind Coffee and Bird & Jim’s restaurant in Estes Park.  Remember that you need to go online and get a reservation time to get into the park.  I would do / plan this step for all parks you plan to go to during your vacation so you don’t have any surprises.  Next Bob and his son did an over-night hike in Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest in Wyoming.  They enjoyed Napoli’s restaurant in Cheyanne, Wy.  They stayed in Driggs, Idaho as their gateway into the Grand Tetons National Park. Here is the link to the Air B&B.  They enjoyed their scenic drive on Moose Wilson Road, and spent time in Teton Village at the foot of Jackson Hole Ski Area.  They also enjoyed a show at Jackson Hole Playhouse.  While the summer traffic was bad in Yellowstone National Park sites not to be missed were the Grand Prasmatic Spring and the Old Faithful Geyser.  They stayed at Faithful Street Inn in West Yellowstone Going to all these parks might make sense to just buy the annual National Park Pass.
