Welcome to my Peru – Machu Picchu Trip Planning episode. Let’s start with some of the podcasts I have been listening too: Amateur Traveler, The World Wanderers, The Travelers Blueprint, What the Pho Travel, and Travel Advice Show. Lots of information in those podcasts. The railways to Machu Picchu are Peru Rail and Inca Rail. The one town I talked about that you could drive to and then take the train is Ollantaytambo, and the one ruin the you can walk to (an uber is better) in Cusco is Saysaywaman (better known to English speaking folk as Sexy Women). The town we might fly to in Northern Peru to go to the beach is Tumbes, Peru. Check out Bolivia Hop if you want to extend into Bolivia. I did not mention this in the podcast, but there is Peru Hop as well. Finally, Here is the link for the minibus to Machu Picchu. https://www.ticketmachupicchu.com/bus-machu-picchu-cusco-hydroelectric/
