Helsinki, Finland is a wonderful place, but it is expensive. I do not think I am telling you anything that you do not probably already know. One way to help conserve costs is to use the Helsinki Card. I highly recommend it. Also, use your hotel points if possible, or free nights from your hotel branded credit cards. If you do not have any hotel credit cards I have some links below that you can use to get some via the card sign-up bonus. We used Viking Ferry’s to get from Estonia to Helsinki. The harbor front basically where you get off the ferry is called Market Square. If you do not buy the Helsinki Card then you can still cruise out of the habor using www.Royalline.fi. We stayed at Holiday Inn Expo, which is a train stop away from downtown at the Pasila / Bole stop and the shopping mall (Helsinki Mall of Tripla) is there as well.
If you would like to help the show and you have been thinking about getting one of these credit cards use my links: Capital One Venture X, Southwest Airlines Personal and/or Business Cards, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Business Ink Cards, and the IHG (Holiday Inn) Cards. If you use my links to sign up for the card I get some points, and again it doesn’t cost you anything to help out the show. Some of these credit card links do not last long. If the link doesn’t work please contact me and I can send one to you in real time. Remember, if you are unable to pay your credit cards off monthly then it is not worth getting these. Thanks so much!
