Episode 141 – Bonus Travel Hacking

In this short episode I wanted to cover using flexible airline miles that allows you to jump in and out of flight itineraries that will help you travel better and more efficiently.  I just did this for a flight in May from Columbus, Ohio to Paris, France saving 16,000 points.  I also changed flights for July from Helsinki, Finland back to Columbus, Ohio giving us much better routing.  The original flights were scheduled in November of 2023, and I changed them in April of 2024.  I also use points stacking by buying gift cards at office supply stores using my Chase Ink Cash credit card (link below) for 5x Chase ultimate reward points. I then went to aadvantageeshopping.com, clicked on the link for the store I wanted to use, and got American Airlines points for the purchase as well.  Double dip with points stacking!

If you have been thinking about getting one of these credit cards use my links: Capital One Venture X, Southwest Airlines Personal and/or Business Cards, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Business Ink Cards, and the IHG (Holiday Inn) Cards. If you use my links to sign up for the card I get some points, and again it doesn’t cost you anything to help out the show.  Some of these credit card links do not last long.  If the link doesn’t work please contact me and I can send one to you in real time.  Remember, if you are unable to pay your credit cards off monthly then it is not worth getting these.  Thanks so much!
