Episode 108 – Glasgow, Scotland and Windor, England

London Booking.com flat – search booking.com Hamlet Gardens, London.  These flats are for sale so over time they could go away.  Excellent rooms.

Glasgow – lot’s of shopping on and city life on Buchanan Street.  The is not too far from the Central Train Station.  Remember if you are training in from Edinburgh you go into Queen Street Station, and George Square is across the street from the station.  We stopped in at the free Musuem of Modern Art, and did not go to the Kelvingrove Art Musuem that is supposed to be fantastic.  The museum of Celtic & Viking Past is actually called Govan Old, which is right on the Clyde River.  We hung out at the Revolution Bar on Buchanan Street.

Windor – of course the main attraction is Windsor Castle, and it is a sight to behold.  At the back of the castle is the Royal Windsor Public House.  A great place for a Pimms and a pint.  Great views looking up at the castle.  Sit out on the back patio.  While the castle is nice, my favorite place is the Windsor & Eton Brewery.  A craft brewery with excellent beer and what looked to be delicious food.

If you have been thinking about getting one of these credit cards use my links: Capital One Venture X, Southwest Credit Card, and the Hyatt Credit Card. If you use my links to sign up for the card I get some points, and again it doesn’t cost you anything to help out the show.  Remember, if you are unable to pay your credit cards off on a monthly basis then it is not worth getting these.  Thanks so much!
