Episode 104 – Los Angeles, USA

Lots to cover in this post. We flew into Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, and went to the Warner Brothers Studio. Get out to the Santa Monica and Santa Monica Pier.  Remember the metro runs out there if you do not have a car.  Find the metro map here.  We stayed at the convenient Carmel By The Sea in Santa Monica- watch out for hidden fees. The Santa Barbara area has lots to do. Here are some websites of interest.

We enjoyed Tarpits Park in the small town of Carpentina, CA.  Look for seals!

Griffith Observatory is a must in my opinion.  Great place to see the Hollywood sign.  Things to go see downtown is the Grand Central Market – food, coffee, drinks, Union Station, Public Library, Angels Flight Rail, China Town, Avia Adobe House on historic Olivera Street, and City Hall and go to the observation deck. Don’t be afraid of use the DASH bus.  Quick and easy.  It will save you a million steps.  I hope you enjoy LA like we did.

If you have been thinking about getting one of these credit cards use my links: Capital One Venture X, Southwest Credit Card, and the Hyatt Credit Card. If you use my links to sign up for the card I get some points, and again it doesn’t cost you anything to help out the show.  Remember, if you are unable to pay your credit cards off on a monthly basis then it is not worth getting these.  Thanks so much!
